During the scorching heat in the plains of 1950s Texas, Homestead explores the daughters of Lillian Beckman, a recent Widow who damands a strict primitive baptist lifestyle. Based on the Friedrich Lorcha classic, "The House of Bernarda Alba", Homestead exhibits the dramas of five caged daughters being exposed to the world of love and sex.
